The Mythomatician: Could You Be One in Disguise?

There are names we inherit and names we earn.
Some we outgrow. Others we grow into.

But there are a few names that don’t come from parents, teachers, or culture.
They come from fire. From fractals. From the fusion of the sacred and the structured.

Mythomatrician is one of those names.

It’s not a job title.
It’s not a trend.
It’s a calling encoded in paradox , and if the term stirred something in you, maybe it’s already yours.

So… What Is a Mythomatician?

A Mythomatician is someone who fuses myth and math, mysticism and measure, the symbolic and the scientific, to decode both the outer universe and the inner life.

It’s not about solving equations for the sake of correctness or reciting myths for aesthetic flair.
It’s about using mathematical patterns and mythic archetypes as living tools for transformation.

Think Fibonacci spirals not just as patterns in flowers, but as evidence of divine rhythm.
Think Pascal’s Triangle not just as a statistical curiosity, but as a metaphor for individual and collective karma.
Think the imaginary unit i, that bold leap beyond the real line as your license to build vertically on the plane of thought and spirit.

A Mythomatician doesn’t pick sides between science and spirit, logic and love, God and numbers.
We say: They were never separate to begin with!

The Birth of this Mythomatician

This isn’t theory.
It’s biography.

In 2018, I lost my husband of 21 years.
I am a mathematician, a rarity for a Black woman in a white-male-dominated field, and math had always been my refuge, my rocket ship, my answer key.

But grief is not an equation.
So I began to read.
And I read not casually, but ritually.

Through 27 Way–Weigh Stations, a collection of sacred, psychological, and esoteric texts that helped me find my way and weigh my rebirth.

Books like:

• The Septuagint Bible, The Kybalion, Dark Night of the Soul
• The Science of Getting Rich, The I Ching, The Autobiography of Malcolm X
• The Law of One, The Master Key System, The Key of Solomon the King

Each book mirrored a phase of my becoming.
Each brought me closer to understanding the mind of Christ not just as a belief, but as a mindset : a way of perceiving the world where logic bows to Love and calculus kisses the sacred.

But Wait! Where’s the Math?

A common question.
“If this is a fusion of God and math… where are the math books?”

They’re in me.

I’ve spent 40 years studying mathematics.
It’s my native tongue. I didn’t need to consult textbooks to understand its power.
I live its structure, rhythm, and recursion.

But for those walking this path with me, I assure you: the math you need to begin is simple:

Add. Subtract. Multiply. Divide.
And understand these sacred numerals: –1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 7.

Even advanced teachings like Schrödinger’s Equation or Sierpinski’s Triangle ultimately point toward a truth that transcends the symbols used to express it.

• Do you see patterns in places others see chaos?

It’s a remembering.

A remembering that you don’t have to choose between left brain and right brain, between rationality and reverence.

This isn’t about becoming me.

Fractally.

Mathematically.
Mythically.
