Iqiniso – Mar 2025

Most of us are taught to approach life’s biggest questions like algebra – searching for the missing variable, hunting for the unknown. But in geometry, a student learns a different discipline: the proof. There, you begin with the answer and must show why it’s true. In this article, I take that same approach to God. I begin axiomatically – God is true -and then explore the postulates that uphold that truth. For purposes of the issue of Iqiniso, I define “God” as Divine Order: the unseen architecture that governs the harmony of life, the natural law behind both the tangible and the miraculous. From ancient wisdom to modern science, we will follow the pattern beneath the pattern, seeking not to own it, but to honor it.
