Mental Currency
The word “currency” has its roots in the Latin word “currens“, which means “to run or flow.”
Another word with its roots in the Latin word “currens” is the word current such as an electrical current or a river current.
Mental currency facilitates a flow of value exchange very similar to financial currency. Actually, mental currency is often exchanged for financial currency.
I know because I’ve been exchanging my mental currency for financial currency for over 30 years.
How does a person accumulate Mental Currency?
By SPENDING TIME and PAYING ATTENTION.
What you spend time on and pay attention to will affect the flow rate of your mental currency. If you spend your time on worthless (worth is self defined ) things, your flow rate will diminish and your mental / financial currency exchange rate will be low.
