Hey there,
If this is your first stop after watching one of our Youtube videos – Welcome!
And relax, I’m not going to try to size you up like Gideon. I don’t know if you sip your spiritual water like a soldier on watch or dip your whole face in it like it’s an all-you-can-drink buffet after a desert run. But Judges 7:5–7 offers us a blueprint for something important: not everyone is meant to go the full distance with every call.
“The Lord said to Gideon, ‘With the three hundred men that lapped I will save you… Let all the others go home.’”
That’s not judgment. That’s selection. It’s not about who’s better, it’s about who’s ready. So if you’re curious, stay with me a moment longer, and I’ll give you a peek behind the curtain.
So what is “Living Oil”?
It’s a way of describing a spiritual and psychological process I lived through – a kind of sacred extraction that didn’t come easy. You see, the story of the Widow’s Oil (2 Kings 4:1–7) isn’t just about a miracle. It’s about what happens when you pour what you have with full faith into empty space, again and again, even when it doesn’t make sense. I lived that story. I even sell candles as my version of that oil – tangible, honest, and symbolic of the very last instruction the widow followed.
This work you see today, these videos, posts, writings is the overflow of years of that pouring. It’s not fluff. It’s not spiritual cosplay. It’s certainly not me pulling verses out of a hat to make a point. I work from the full 31,102 verses of the Bible, (abusus non tollit usumAbusus Non Tollit Usum is a Latin phrase meaning “Abuse does not take away use.”In other words, the misuse of something More) not a cherry-picked few, and I lean on respected sources like Matthew Henry’s commentary, not just vibes and memes.
Why the Bible? And why like this?
Because for many, the Bible has been reduced to weaponry or ornamental piety. But I see it as a living code a fractal pattern , a waveform revealing the shape of consciousness and by Divine orderAfter many years as an educator, I’ve learned something deceptively simple: we don’t all see the same mental images, even More. You don’t have to believe it all happened the way it’s written to recognize that the pattern still applies. The Living Word doesn’t just float in the clouds somewhere: it breathes through our lives, decisions, griefs, and breakthroughs.
My approach isn’t here to convert, condemn, or coddle. It’s here to equip those who sense more but haven’t had language for it. It’s for the skeptics with spiritual curiosity. It’s for the believers who want to think deeply. It’s for the spiritually orphaned, the intellectually hungry, and those tired of either/or theology.
So whether you’re sipping or lapping, take what you need.
