Meeting My Monkey Man

I would like to invite you on a journey.

A journey not only through the paths I’ve walked, but through the mind that built the bridges I walk on today. Every course offered here is based on my personal experience. Not just research, but how these concepts played out in real life.

I first met my Monkey Man in the aftermath of the greatest loss I had ever known. Outwardly, I appeared to be managing well, carrying out the duties of life with what seemed like strength. But inwardly, there was a deep split between body and mind, a silent fracture no one could see. In truth, I was as lost as any soul would have been in such a storm.

It is only now, through years of growth, reflection, and the slow stitching together of my own chronicles, that I can give voice to the mental progression that carried me through. The Monkey Man who carried me was not a metaphor, but a living presence within.

An ancient traveler trained in the ways of my early life, showing up not with perfect wisdom, but with the tools I had given him long before the grief.

In our stories, he is symbolized in the titular figure of Lebombo’s Bone.

A Baboon wielding the Lebombo bone, one of the first instruments of counting and measurement, representing the unshakable foundation of mathematical principles.
In his hands, Lebombo’s Bone holds a book.

One side bears the Tree of Life: the symbol of perpetual growth, interconnection, and mystery. The other side holds the Circle of Fifths intertwined with the Unit Circle and a Coda symbol: the sacred meeting of music, time, and mathematics.

This was the Monkey Man’s early training , books, music, and math. And so, in my time of darkness, this is where he returned. He built bridges from numbers, measures, notes, and patterns, because that was the soil he had been given. So be prepared for allusions to music, in fact there was a reference to a song in the Fable of the Monkey Man and the Seven Villages.

Please understand this was no clean, golden road of knowledge acquisition. While my Monkey Man was busy crafting structures in the dark, I, the human host, was flailing. I stumbled, I wept, I doubted. I often had nothing but the thin thread of faith to hold onto.

And if I build another website, it will be dedicated to the sheer power of faith not the faith that exists in comfort, but the faith that rises when nothing else remains.

This journey is not just about learning facts or understanding theories. It is about meeting your own Monkey Man, that silent, ancient companion within you , and discovering the bridges he’s been quietly building all along.

Welcome to the work. Welcome to the wonder.
